Moments Within My Journey (ePub)

Moments Within My Journey…Stories To Be Shared, this fifth book in a five-part series, was one I didn't originally intend to write. It sort of happened as an after-thought once I'd finished the first four.

On the first day of March in 2019, I sat down at my computer and once again began to bring to life more of my past memories. Some days I'd produce only one short story and on other days I'd write up to two or three at a time. Working every day, for the following five weeks, fifty-seven new ones were completed.

Up until this book, I've tried to keep all my stories positive and didn't include any of the really negative things that have been a part of my life. In a couple of cases in this fifth book, I decided to tell about a few life experiences I wish had never occurred.

Life, being the way it is, subjects us all to certain things we just can't avoid. In looking back now, I've become aware I wouldn't be the same caring and reflective person without those events as part of my journey. I'm glad I've chosen to share just a few of them with you, so you'll know I'm a normal person.

My sincere desire is that you read all of these additional stories in this fifth book, and they cause you to go back in time, so you will recall many of your own personal memories.

Maybe, when you finish reading, you'll want to start writing a collection of stories taken from special moments in your life. In doing so, you'll create a family legacy that those who come after you will treasure for many years to come.

My advice, in how to get started, is to write one story at a time with no real intention of creating a book. Do that again and again, whenever you're in the mood. Before long, you'll find you have created a stack of stories, and you will begin to get excited about how they can be used.

One day, you'll say to yourself, "With a little more effort, I believe I can make this into a published book for my family and friends." It can happen. I encourage you to get started right away.
