In doing so, we are forced to stop at various junctions, becoming emotionally, sensationally, and spiritually involved with what we encounter. As the duration of the journey progresses, we age with time. The subconscious mind projects past images in sequences or by association, making life surreal. Like actors on stage, we perform, aware of our entrances and exits. Every performance is a prologue to what might be or what might have been.

Pramila U. Dugel, second timeauthor, is originally from Nepal
and was educated in Darjeeling,
India. After receiving her Cambridge
University Overseas certificate, she
graduated with a bachelor degree
in Kathmandu.
She taught in International Schools
in Vienna, Austria, New York, USA,
and Beijing, China. As Principal of
a private school in Long Beach, CA
for nine years, she resigned in 2003 to pursue her dream-
to be an author.
She established the first Kindergarten in Kathmandu, she
has given teachers' workshops, written educational articles
(Macmillan) and has lectured in educational forums.
Extensive travel allowed her the opportunity to meet people
of various races, religions and cultures. With compassion
and sincere interest, she has written this fiction about
those who are marginalized and dejected. Could this really
happen? The reader can decide.
