Produktinformationen zu „Once Upon A Summertime (ePub)“
Muffet during the 1930's at Ponte Vedra Beach when she first started writing in her diary, a little red leather one with its own lock and key.
The author has followed the original diary journal entries and with her recollections has brought to life the summertime that she cherished.
The script is true, the memories stills strong today and the illustrations are Muffet's very own.
And, as she says, the story is for beach children of all ages.

Autoren-Porträt von Marion Whatley Cowart
ABOUT THE AUTHORMarion Whatley Cowart is a native Floridian, a life long student of art with a lifetime love of the beach. She is the mother of two daughters and two sons, and is married to William Franklin Cowart, also a native Floridian, former resident of Jackson, Wyoming and past representative for the Hughes Aircraft Company, Paris France.
"Muffet" as she is called by her friends and grandchildren was born in Jacksonville, attended Bartram School and graduated from Goucher College, Baltimore, Maryland. Subsequently she worked for the State Department and lived in Georgetown. Later upon returning to her much loved Florida she established an advertising art business.
Now a full-time resident of Ponte Vedra (her childhood summer time home), she spends lots of time traveling with husband Bill and entertaining her happy bunch of five young grandchildren reading, telling stories and giving art lessons. She lives surprisingly enough on the exact spot where the three palms (in this book) once stood.
