Produktinformationen zu „Organic Electronics (PDF)“
This book discusses the materials, manufacturing and applications aspects of organic thin film transistors. Authored and edited by 30 leading experts from industry and academia it is packed with know how and first hand expertise on the practical issues of organic electronics. While previous publications have covered the physics and chemistry of organic transistors, this is the first book devoted exclusively to the technology of these devices, their integration into real products, and current industry activities to commercialize organic electronics.
Following an introductory chapter by one of the pioneers of organic device technology, the book reviews the state-of-the-art and recent advances in three major sections. Functional materials such as organic semiconductors, gate dielectrics and flexible substrates are introduced, followed by manufacturing processes based on film deposition and patterning. Lastly, product applications such as circuits, displays, detectors and sensors are featured prominently.
The book draws from the collective knowledge of professionals from eight corporations (Philips, 3M, Plastic Logic, Eastman Kodak, Xerox, DuPont, AIXTRON, Hueck Folien) and nine universities and research centers (CNRS, PARC, University of Kentucky, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, Pennsylvania State University, University of Tokyo, University of Erlangen, Johns Hopkins University) and thus provides the reader with an unprecedented view of the global organic electronics landscape.
