She is a full professor of Psychiatry, Epidemiology, and Surgery, and the founding director of the Weight Management Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her work has been covered in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Good Housekeeping, Self, Fitness, and many other publications.
