Produktinformationen zu „Sara’S Knight Wore a White Sailors Cap (ePub)“
Two cousins were raised by their grandparents. Margarets parents died from an accident, and Saras parents died from the flu epidemic.
Sara was beautiful and always appeared happy and was kind to everyone. She had many friends and always had a good attitude about life. She inherited a large inheritance from her deceased parents and a marriage proposal from the most popular guy at school.
However, Margaret was always overweight and had a very negative attitude and felt that she would never get married because no one ever asked her out on a date. She blamed Sara for all of her problems and bad luck. When she heard that Sara was engaged to the guy that she and half the girls at school had a crush on, she totally detested her cousin and refused to have anything to do with her.
The lives of both girls took a drastic change after they moved away from their grandparents home.
Instead of having the storybook marriage that she had always dreamed of, Saras home turned into a chamber of horrors.
Margaret felt that she was finally getting even with Sara when she began having an affair with her gorgeous husband.

Autoren-Porträt von Peggy Savage Baumgardner
Peggy Savage Baumgardner began her writing career while in the tenth grade of high school, thanks to her English teacher, Jim Avey. He encouraged her to turn a short story assignment into a full novel, which she did, but not until many years later, after her children, Charles and Cheryl were grown and she had retired from local government. Inez, Peggys mother, kept her short story tucked safely away in her bible all through the years, and then gave it back to Peggy before she passed away in 1993. The title of the short story was, Andersons Survive the Civil War Then Seal it with a Kiss. The story was special to her mother because Anderson was her maiden name.
After reconnecting with her beloved teacher Jim Avey, he and her husband Frank, encouraged Peggy to turn her story assignment into a full novel.
Mr. Avey gave Peggy another A+ grade and wrote a note about her book. Her publisher added the note and her grade to her book before publishing it.
Thanks to local newspapers and Fox TV, the story of Peggy and her beloved teacher, twice became a front-page human-interest story. Mr. Avey told her that he received more recognition because of her book than he ever did during all of his years of teaching school.
Books written by Peggy are Andersons Survive the Civil War Then Seal it with a Kiss, The Secret Sins of Their Preachers, EMMA Infamy & Ecstasy and her current book SHAKEDRA.
Teachers do make a difference in the lives of their students. Mr. Avey and Peggy are a perfect example.
