A royal prince, Higbee, a young Snowy Owl from the Arctic tundra, arrives in a town on the Atlantic Sea. He’s not aware, but a deadly winter storm is on the way. His life could be in serious danger.
Quinn, the noble leader of a blackbird flock, enlists the help of four little brothers—Jacob, Landon, Owen, and Harrison—to help save Higbee’s life with a whole cast of characters including Sofie, a house mouse; Mother Moon; a striper fish named Gabriel; and a jar of fireflies. The kids use their sailboat, a gift from their grandfather, to attempt to whisk Higbee away to a safe place.
