Dr 'Deji Ayoade is an American writer of Nigerian origin. He completed his medical training from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria after which he practiced alongside other medical professionals internationally.His affection for creative writing sprang from writing scientific research papers, one of which earned him a Netherlands Professional Grant in 2007. He also won a scholarship to complete an accelerated master’s program in international health policy and management at the Heller Graduate School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University, Massachusetts, USA in 2008. In 2009, he completed another master’s degree In healthcare services management at the Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University, USA.
The author is a strong fan of poetry and had written several poems for different occasions. He currently serves with the United States Navy, Navy Medical Center, San Diego, California.
