He argues that the mechanistic discourse of corporate culture has replaced the language of education - subject-based disciplines and the professors who teach them have become "e;resource units,"e; students have become "e;educational consumers,"e; and curricula have become "e;program packages."e; Graduates are now "e;products"e; and "e;competing in the global economy"e; has replaced the search for truth.
