Biosketch: Cora Mack Cora Mack is a full-time nurse consultant, born and raised in Washington DC. As a young child she lived in the Shaw district and spent a considerable amount of time in the funeral home her grandparents owned and where her mother grew up. Through the years her mother shared stories about her experiences living in Shaw and the funeral home that are reflected in the novel. Cora Mack is a mystery buff and has taken many creative writing classes to perfect her craft. She is a member of the Bethesda Writers Center in Bethesda Maryland. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband, two children and two grandchildren. This is her first novel.
