Social Capital and Entrepreneurs' Innovative Behaviors (ePub)

Since 1990s, facing the competitive environment improving constantly due to globalization, informatization and marketization, enterprises are in urgent requirement of improving correctness, decisiveness and agility of their operating decisions. As the most important subjects of promoting industrial upgrading, technological innovation and institutional changes, entrepreneurs' behaviors actors directly affect the economic growth and development of a country or region. Only by seeing through the appearance of social resources, structure, technology and institutional factors can we make in-depth analysis on motivation, cultural values and behavioral characteristics of entrepreneurs as subjects of economic behaviors, so as to scientifically and accurately understand the trend of economic development. For more than 30 years since the reform and opening up, Chinese enterprises have grown up rapidly. Innovative behaviors of Chinese entrepreneurs are also noticeable. China's national income per capita has increased to 6500 U.S. dollars in 2012 from 190 U.S. dollars in 1978. China has successfully implemented the transformation from a low-income country to a middle-income country. Population in poverty has decreased by more than 400 million. People's social life, cultural life and hygienic life have also been greatly improved.
