Paul R. Stricker, MD, FAAP, is a pediatric and adolescent sports-medicine specialist and one of only 87 pediatricians in the United States to be board-certified in both pediatrics and sports medicine. He is the first pediatrician to be selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee, a member of the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics section on sports medicine and fitness, and is president of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He lives in San Diego.
