With a background in psychology and research, Trish Haill spent twenty-eight years working in local government with many years in senior management positions. Her varied career included experience of speaking at several national conferences. Trish now concentrates on writing and website design, and hobbies including reading, walking and showing her dog. She was inspired to write this book on entering the world of dog showing and finding there was not enough information on the subject. Trish and her dog Bess have risen from the ranks of novice dog showing to qualifying for Crufts.
