Autoren-Porträt von Dhazi Chiwapu
Born and bred in a typical Zimbabwean rural setup, the writer experienced the most excruciating calamities as a result of the war of liberation between the years 1970 and 1979. The writer is the rare species of the war collaborators who has stood to inform the world about what was happening during the war. The writer uses first-hand information, which is the advantage for the reader to hear the reality as it happened. Today, many people know Zimbabwe due to uneven political field, but many do not know what it was before. The writer, a father of four, continued with life in the city during the colonial and postcolonial era. This vast experience formed the basis from which this lively book is based. The writer currently lives in the diaspora from which more experience he obtained. The writer is a successful secondary schoolteacher and nurse. He grew up from a humble background to acquire his current status through hard work and perseverance.
It is his high hopes that many people shall be inspired to work harder to achieve high life and that the sky is the limit for anyone. Enjoy yourself.
