Ramona M. Wis is the Mimi Rolland Distinguished Professor in the Fine Arts at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where she is the conductor of the Women's Chorale and Chamber Singers and the co-conductor of the Concert Choir, as well as the chair of the music department. She specializes in the areas of rehearsal techniques and teaching, gesture as metaphor, and leadership, and has presented workshops throughout the United States and in Canada. Wis has served as the president of the American Choral Directors Association in Illinois (ACDA) and on the executive boards of the ACDA and the Illinois Music Education Association. She lives in Naperville, Illinois.
