Dr. Moe was born in rural Minnesota on a family farm and grew up dreaming about majestic places and more dramatic times. Being the practical sort, an inherent fault of a Midwestern upbringing, he attended various University of Minnesota branches en route to his final disposition as an internal medicine physician in small town, Minnesota, not far from where he was born. Now a husband and father of two, he spends his days guiding patients through the last chapters of their lives. He and his family reside in the country, where he spends his free time tending grapes and a small orchard, raising bees, writing, and enjoying the solitude of a rural life.
