Vanessa Mehrabian was born in 1980 as the eldest of four children. She grew up in Europe and New Zealand and, upon returning to the UK, studied Political Science and Media at Brunel University.Vanessa started reading at a young age and began writing at the age of nine. Later, she discovered music and combined both interests by teaching herself the guitar and writing music.
The General’s Café was an idea that grew from a love of classic dystopian literature, coupled with following current events as they unfolded during the first half of the 2000s.
Vanessa currently works for a research company in London and resides in Berkshire.
