and poems written for relaxation. With humour and
satire, soul searching and comforting prose, love and hope,

laughter, curiosity and moments of personal thought.
The collection also tells of the pride of our soldiers to whom
it is dedicated, as they sacrifice their lives in pursuit of peace
to the oppressed. The courage and pride of these men and
women is told in poetry with highlights of the pride in what
they choose to do. The pride that outweighs the risks they
face everyday in doing their job.

Autoren-Porträt von David D M Osano
Serving with the British Forces, David DM Osano is an aspiring poet who writes of
all the pleasantries in our everyday lives. He
uses his African roots to blend poetry into
short narratives packed with humour and
artistry in portraying all that we sometimes
want to say but are always too afraid to say.
In this collection, he dedicates a lot of his
poetry speaking of the plight, pride and
predicaments of the modern day soldiers
who are serving in various roles across the
world, having experienced first hand with
sadness the aftermath of innocent sacrifices
made by these brave men and women. He
also uses this collection to highlight the role
of charity in supporting the soldiers, their
families and friends in various roles both
during and after their time in service.
The Last Words, is not only the way he sees
the society but also the way he expects the
society to be.
