Her first bad incident happened to her when she was 2 years old. She was accidently hit by a car and had to relearn everything over again, she suffered from bad memory loss later on as she aged. As she got older she would get witness and often become a victim of domestic violence. She would learn knowledge of what crack cocaine and alcohol is at a early age. She would get teased at school from being different, and these scars would haunt her all her life. As you read, this will give you more information in detail on the different type of troubles that she have had growing up. This book is based on true story. The real names of the characters in this will not be told for the protection of their identity. I hope that whoever read this book will enjoy it, relate to it, and get some positive messages from reading this book; that will be able to help them in their own lives. I hope it will especially help the teenage young girls. I hope they take notes of what not to do.

Jaytilya Watkins is an African American female beginner author born in Dallas, Texas but was raised in Alabama. She can relate to her character Ratilya Martin in many ways and has been through similar situations as her character went through. Her sole purpose for writing this book is to prevent children and teenage girls from walking down the same path as Ratilya Martin did in the book. She wants to inform them of the older guys that will only lie and manipulate them just to get what they want out of them which is their innocence. She also wants to educate parents on how domestic violence can have a major effect on their children as they grow up. Jaytilya Watkins also song writes, rap and perform on her spare time.
