It is also a book about the lengths some will go to control others, and the necessity for resisting them, no matter the cost. The Troubleshooters are a diverse and lovable group of people who will remind you of people you know-and, when necessary, they really kick butt. The world is not black and white, but sometimes, the shades of gray don't matter. You have to do what is right, for yourself, your friends and loved ones, and the world. This story is what that looks like when you have metahuman powers.

Since he can remember, the author has written stories, and had created a fictional world by age 8 which he continued to write stories in into his 20s. His earliest surviving writing is a 7-part Fantasy series, and he has written several fantasy stories, but never was able to make the connections to get published, instead moving from job to job (inclusing an enlistment in the United States Air Force, from June of 1999 to November of 2003). None of them were satisfying, however, and he never lost the dream of becoming an author, instead of just a writer. Now, living in Ohio after living in Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Oregon again, Florida, Texas again (for Basic Training), Mississippi (for Tech School), Missouri (for other Tech School), North Carolina, Bahrain and Kuwait (after 9/11), North Carolina again, Florida again (after leaving the Air Force), Florida again, and Texas again, he has finally accomplished the publishing of a second novel. He hopes you enjoy it because he is, first and foremost, a storyteller.
