Covering themes from marriages to departures, secrets to revelations, the natural world to the built environment in poems and short prose; these pieces please, move, amuse, and celebrate in equal measure. A testament to writing as moving from the solitary desk or laptop to tentative sharing and encouragement into the full sunlight of a published book, please read it kindly.

Autoren-Porträt von Adrian Scott

Adrian G R Scott is the author of two collections of poetry 'The Call of the Unwritten' and 'Arriving in Magic'. They stemmed from a commitment to dedicate the lion's share of his time to writing when he turned fifty in 2011. This commitment produced an invitation to run a writing workshop at a local festival and subsequently to host two writing groups under the umbrella name of the 'Rivelin Writers'. He lives in the Rivelin Valley, Sheffield and is embarked on a PhD in creative writing at Sheffield University aimed at producing a collection of poems about the city.
