I have been writing for twenty years and have been subject to great hardship but have always had optimistic viewpoint on life and tried to live life positively and treat others with compassion and respect...

My name is Cassius James.I am forty years of age and have been writing for the past twenty-one years.
I have over three thousand poems all of varying topics, including love, spirituality, nature, and the universe. These subjects entwine, and I have sought to weave them together within my poetry. The road I have taken to this point is what drove me and still inspires me to make use of the written word as my form of artistic expression and Freudian sublimation.
The work of other poets has spoken to me and aided me through the challenges of life.
