Jasjit S. Suri, PhD, MBA, FIEEE, FAMIBE, FAIUM, FSVM, FAPVS, is an innovator, visionary, scientist, and an internationally known world leader in Biomedical Engineering and its management. Dr. Suri received the Director General's Gold Medal in 1980 as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis in 2018. He is a Fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE, 2021), American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE, 2004), awarded by the National Academy of Sciences, Washington DC, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM, 2019), Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM, 2021), and Asia Pacific Vascular Society (APVS, 2020). He is currently Chairman of AtheroPoint(TM) in Roseville, CA, USA, dedicated to imaging technologies for cardiovascular and stroke. He has nearly 25,000 citations, co-authored 60 books, and holds 50 US/European patents.
