His publications include Rationalism, Realism, and Relativism (1990), Wittgenstein and Quine (1991), and Wittgenstein s Philosophical Investigations: Text and Context (1992), both with H.-J. Glock, and Western Ethics: An Historical Introduction (Blackwell 1998).
