How does Reformed theology compare with liberation theology with respect to the Protestant church's mission in Korea? Why has the Korean conservative church lost its social impact in its mission? Using a highly unique approach, the author examines these and other challenging questions by specifically focusing on the Minjung , a Korean form of liberation theology. A Comparative Study Between Minjung Theology and Reformed Theology from a Missiological Perspective employs solid methodology and strong intelligible arguments to challenge the conservative church to regain its social significance in the face of declining popularity.

Pressezitat
"Dr. Sang-Bok Lee's book compares Minjung Theology with Reformed Theology and adds significant missiological insights from a Christian, Korean and scholarly perspective. It merits translation into the Korean language, and wide distribution." (Dr. Paul B. Long, Emeritus Professor of Missions at Reformed Theological Seminary)"Dr. Lee's study will become a standard in the field of comparative theology. As a Korean Reformed missiologist, Dr. Lee is familiar with both Minjung and Reformed theological systems. In his research he explores, compares, and evaluates both in a remarkable way by identifying the key theological and 'missiodeological' leitmotifs of Minjung Theology and Reformed theology." (Dr. Elias dos Santos Medeiros, Chairman of the Mission Department of the Reformed Theological Seminary)
