'A Storm in a Teacup' is set in the Moroccan desert for most of the time with Arturo - an old time war hero in the European wars and Kerwegi his confidante and Personal Assistant that was rescued from a camp for derelict war criminals. Theirs is a tale of two different minds with Arturo representing the finesse of affluence, an Oxbridge education and a big inheritance from Aunt Martha who only wishes to spoil him further. While Kerwegi is an animist native sorcerer with intuitive abilities from the soil that couldn't let go to waste. They traverse vast Lands in India from the belly-dancing, thieving whore to comrade Xu the eccentric who rises through the ranks of Maoist China only to befall the very system he much benefited from. The wartime duo meet and hire an incredible mercenary outfit, the Legendary Salamander for security in their quest for surface diamonds that Arturo foolhardily believes by association with some old American military allies are strewn somewhere on the scathing desert. They meet troublesome people too like Shrews gunmen who shatter their dreams. There is a distraction thou - Sirocco the ravishing Bedouin beauty who sets Arturo back in the gemstone hunt.

Katekaine, SolomonKatekaine Solomon was born in Beijing, China where his parents were working Diplomats at the time. He attended Indian Embassy School, China, City Primary School (Arya), Kololo and later middle school when the family returned to Uganda in the early 80 - 90's. 'A Storm in a Teacup' is his first Novel drawing a critique on society using satire.
