Along with this, most of cooperative societies are belongs to male members, the board of directors are dominantly leaded by men in the sampled cooperatives, and the result may be true almost for all cooperatives in Ethiopia. Mostly women have very low participation in important and decisive institutions like cooperatives and as a result they have low access to resources, new technologies, and also information or knowledge.
