Liz Jensen studierte Englisch am Somerville College in Oxford, arbeitete als Journalistin in Hongkong und Taiwan, danach als Produzentin für die BBC sowie als Journalistin und Bildhauerin in Frankreich. Heute lebt sie in London und Kopenhagen. Sie hat bereits eine Reihe von Romanen veröffentlicht. Mehrmals war sie u.a. für den Orange Prize und den Guardian First Book Award nominiert.
