Management of Fishery sector has served as a center of attention and principle for much of the research regarding artificial reefs since they were seriously considered scientifically in the mid-1970s. Strengthen enthusiasm in artificial habitats comes from a diversity of commercial, conservation, recreational and management sectors. This book bestow an overview of Artificial Reef and importance of comparisons with artificial reef in the marine environment. Chapters confers history of artificial reef, international legislation, need of artificial reefs, its advantages & disadvantages and management of artificial reefs. The goal of the contributors to this volume is to increase the scope of research and development (R&D) for this field.
