Autoren-Porträt
Mohammed Atiquzzaman obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Manchester (UK). He currently holds the Edith Kinney Gaylord Presidential professorship in the School of Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Atiquzzaman is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Networks and Computer Applications, Founding Editor-in-Chief of Vehicular Communications, Former Co-Editor-in-Chief of Computer Communication and has served/serving on the editorial boards of IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE JSAC, etc.
Dr. Atiquzzaman served as General Chair and Program chair of many conferences including IEEE Globecom and IEEE ICC, and was Panels Co-Chair of INFOCOM. He received the NASA Group Achievement Award, the IEEE Satellite Communications Technical Contribution Award for his contributions to space communications, and the IEEE Distinguished Technical Achievement Award for hiswork in communications switching and routing. Dr. Atiquzzaman received IEEE Communication Society's Fred W. Ellersick Prize. He has delivered keynote talks in over 25 international conferences around the globe, including USA, Brazil, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Australia, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Korea.
