Kjartan Poskitt, geb. 1956, ist in Großbritannien als Bestseller-Autor und TV-Moderator einer Wissensshow für Kinder bekannt.Philip Reeve wurde in Brighton geboren und wuchs dort auf. Er arbeitete in einem Buchladen, bevor er als Illustrator tätig wurde und schließlich zu schreiben begann. Für Großstadtjagd gewann er zahlreiche Preise. Philip Reeve lebt mit seiner Familie in Devon.
