Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The César Award for Best Editing is one of the annual César Awards given by the French Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinema. Eligible films are usually in the French language. The César Award is the national film award of France, first given out in 1975. The nominations are selected by the members of the Académie des arts et techniques du cinéma. The nationally televised award ceremony is held in the Thétre du Ch
telet in Paris each February. The name of the award comes from the sculptor César Baldaccini (1921 1998). The trophies are actual sculptures of the artist. They are considered to be the French equivalent of the American Academy Awards. The 36th César Awards were presented on 25 February 2011.
