Peter Dunn penned a short article for the Total Quality Management magazine in 1994 which was published in twenty six countries. He was subsequently offered membership of the Literati Society of Great Britain. He was an active associate of the Institute for Quality Assurance for most of his working life and was invited to speak at Quality Assurance Seminars held at the Suffolk College, Kent County Council and other training providers. Peter's engineering career progressed from an indentured apprenticeship with Vickers Ltd, into Inspection and Quality Management within Unilever and Halliburton where he held supervisory and management positions.Latterly he moved from exploration to transportation and delivery in the oil industry, relocating from the North of Scotland to the South of England.Peter has been recognized Lloyds Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas and The Institute of Mechanical Engineers for his association with them in the verification of Pressure Vessels, Well Head Equipment, Non Destructive Testing and Welding Qualifications.After retiring in 2006, Peter now lives in Spain's Northern Costa Blanca.
