It is no doubt that there have been various conceptions in the media and in other research work centering on Media Law and how it affects journalism and the society as a whole. It is also true that Media Law is not only meant for journalist but for every citizen under the constitution. While Media Law have been to thought of to be for everyone, there is a call to strengthen this laws, implementing them and removing those that are no longer relevant, especially the colonial laws and the ones relating to them which no longer holds in our present state. There is therefore no need for total deconstruction, but for a continuous evaluation since the profession journalism is dynamic.
