Confucianism is a family religion. The essence of Confucianism is that the filial piety due to parents makes a man good in his relations with his fellow men. Confucianism is the philosophy of social organization, and the philosophy of daily life. Confucianism emphasizes the social responsibilities of man. In Confucianism, human beings are teachable, improvable and perfectible through personal and communal endeavor, especially including self-cultivation and self-creation.
