Born in Northern Ireland but moved to Manchester to train as a youth worker, having been turned down for a job in Mecca Leisure for being 'overqualified'. Studied law by distance learning, in Nottingham and graduated in 1999. More study and an MA in Law Medicine and Ethics in 2005. Have worked in and around Manchester raising twins and working mainly in local government for half a lifetime and have only been to Old Trafford once. Dan Okada received his degree from the University of Maryland. He is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at California State University Sacramento and is engaged in several diverse community, discipline, and university activities,
