Pat Walsh verbrachte ihre Kindheit in Westafrika und Irland, bevor ihre Familie nach Leicestershire zog. Bereits mit neun wollte sie Archäologin werden und ging drei Jahre später schon zu ihrer ersten Ausgrabung. Mittlerweile ist Pat Walsh studierte Archäologin und gräbt noch immer. Das Schreiben ist ihre andere große Leidenschaft. Und die Mythologie und der Reichtum der englischen Kultur und Geschichte sind ihre Inspiration. Pat Walsh lebt mit ihrem Mann und zwei Söhnen in Bedfordshire.
