Produktinformationen zu „Decisive Leadership by Tacit Knowledge “
The way of dealing with relevant information in a professional style, called
Knowledge Management, becomes topic with growing interest regarding
business matters.
Out of that, implicit knowledge is seen to be as a crucial aspect to keep the
strength in competition, especially within larger organisations.
Growing, continuously quicker changing markets and shorter lifecycles of
products require to focus on existing knowledge and its handling. Those
phenomena lead to leaders' situations of not being aware or capable of
tranforming their knowledge into suitable, sustainable and on-time decisionmaking.
Existing management systems, e.g. software solutions like CRM-modules or
similar databases, exclusively capture explicit knowledge. This part of knowledge
is just of limited use as such systems do not capture the leaders' core
knowledge like ideas, experience and methods.
This book is to focus on situations, challenges and problems bigger companies
are faced with and to show solutions and possibilities when trying to
handle and bundle this kind of knowledge.
Along the outcome of three interviewees who work for a worldwide acting
IT-company, the author demonstrates how professional capture of implicit
knowledge could look like to achieve sustainable and worthful decisions on
both operative and strategic levels.
This book is written for decision makers acting within organisations whose
success strongly depends on employees' knowledge who easily could leave
the company.
