Prof. em. Dr. sc. phil. Reiner Groß, geb. 1937 in Zwickau, war von 1969 bis 1994 Archivar am Sächsischen Hauptstaatsarchiv in Dresden. von 1994 bis 2002 hatte er eine Professur für Regionalgeschichte an der Technischen Universität Chemnitz. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen zur deutschen Geschichte und sächsischen Landesgeschichte sowie zur Archivwissenschaft.Werner Lieberknecht ist freischaffender Fotograf.
