The field experiment comprising of three levels each of K viz., 0, 40, and 60 kg K2O ha-1, zinc viz., 0, and 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1 and FYM viz., 0, and 5 t ha-1 in FRBD replicated three times were tested in the experiment. The application of K @ 60 kg K2O ha-1as well as Zn @ 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1and FYM @ 5 t ha-1significantly increased the plant height, number of primary and secondary branches per plant, pod per plant, 100 seed weight, seed yield and straw yield, but protein content and protein yield significantly increased with application of K @ 40 kg K2O ha-1 as well as Zn @ 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1 .Similarly, the application of K @ 60 kg K2O ha-1,zinc @ 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1and FYM @ 5 t ha-1also produced beneficial effect on content of K, S and Zn and uptake of nutrients (N, P, K, S and Micro-nutrients).The available K and Zn as well as O.C.status registered its higher value under application of K @ 60 kg K2O ha-1ann Zn @ 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1as well as FYM @ 5 t ha-1after harvest of crop. The qualitative highest yield of summer green gram can be achieved by application of K @ 60 kg K2O ha-1 and Zn @ 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1with FYM @ 5 t ha-1.
