Over the last few years, conducting polymers have emerged and established as indispensable tools in the fabrication of anti-static substances for photographic film, corrosion inhibitors, compact capacitors, electromagnetic shielding, "Smart Windows" for computers, electrostatic materials, molecular electronics and ion exchange membranes.
