He has observed clearly that ethnic relations have been politicized by successive governments in Kenya with limited objective measures to address its related consequences. A historical approach to this problem which he has recommended is very relevant for solving future problems related to this case because it provides a basis for understanding the historical relations of conflicting communities in their remote past.
