In the book author delved into one of the critical moments of contemporary European history. Invasion of Georgia by the Russian Federation and endeavours to change European borders by using force unquestionably had broad implications and required serious revision of the principles, established after the end of the Cold War. In the aftermath of the August 08 War, world once again witnessed the failure of international institutions, due to their inability to guarantee the basic principles of commonly agreed UN Charter. Therefore, Russian invasion to Georgia and aftermath attempt to annex its' neighbour, once again demonstrated the fact that Global actors on world political scene are irrespective towards the established principles and they are mere tools for safeguarding their own interests. Thus, Europe witnessed security paradigm shift and the very change did not happen only in normative extent, alteration occurred within the theoretical debates of International Relations as well.
