This book discusses the issue of trade liberalization and gender gap in general, then the issue of trade liberalization and women employment specifically since employment is a very important issue especially in developing countries for poverty reduction. Agriculture is extremely important for developing countries' economy that is why the book discusses the impact of trade liberalization on women farmers. Finally the book discusses the policy recommendations whether national- level policy recommendations or international ones to be able to move towards a leveled- playing field and a gender- balanced trading system. The target groups for which the book was written are gender and trade experts.
