Stephen May is a playwright and novelist and holds an MA in creative writing from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is Director of the Ted Hughes Arvon Centre at Lumb Bank where he has programmed and organised courses attended by over 2000 different writers. His novel Life! Death! Przes! has been nominated for the Best Novel at the Costa Book Awards 2012.
