Ab Mitte der 1980er Jahre wurde er zu einem leidenschaftlichen Musiksammler von unterschiedlichen Genres wie dem frühen Punk, New Wave, Hardrock und Heavy Metal, 2-Tone, Oi! und Skinhead- Rock.
