Packed full of valuable strategic insights and information on how to set up shop and scale up in the region, How to Do Business in Latin America is for those serious about developing and expanding operations in Mexico and Central and South America. With a population approaching 600 million, rapid proliferation of the internet and mobile telephony, and improvements in social and physical infrastructure, the region has become a bountiful source of untapped, lower-cost talent and other resources-and a huge consumer market for products and services.Yet, with 20 different countries and 20 distinct markets to choose from, Latin America can be very difficult to navigate. In addition to language barriers, there are cultural, legal, regulatory, and technological issues nonnative businesspeople must manage effectively. How to Do Business in Latin America informs and guides you through the thickets that might otherwise entangle new entrants to the burgeoning markets south of the U.S. border.
