The concept of Immunity is not alien to humanity. In a nutshell, it describes an exemption from immediate punishment. Thus, persons enjoying same under a well defined circumstance are exempted from litigation(s). Therefore, Executive Immunity which is a specie of Immunity seeks to amongst others, protect the Executive President, Vice President, Governors and Deputies from prosecution for personal acts as long as S/he remains in office. However, the Clause must be reconsidered in the light of the corrupt practices perpetrated by persons enjoying its protection. This is the crux of this work. This text therefore, proffer solutions on how these ills can be remedied in order to pigeonhole corruption.
