Among the inhibitors, the role of Aniline, Iso propyl alcohol, Sodium benzoate, and Benzamide has not been studied in S (IV) autoxidation reaction, although the role of organics and NH3 are well studied. In view of the fact that inhibitor help in delineating the mechanism of autoxidation, whether radical or non -radical. We have decided to study the effect of iso propyl alcohol, aniline, sodium benzoate, & benzamide on the autoxidation rates and help understand the mechanism.
