Emerging threats to projects from events like climate change, natural calamities to interdepedance require radical shifts indefining, developing, procuring and managing projects. Massive projects from the states of mid-stream operations to near ending service lives are in need for a robust approach in dealing with competitors across all sectors. Contemporary project managers cannot ignore being part of devising appropriate solutions. Focusing on a whole of life philosophy, a new project management concept embodying simulation technology has been presented to exploit truevalue-for-money in development and effective management of complexprojects. The systems based methodological concept put forward in the book aims to benefit academics, students and project management practitioners from every sector. The framework will assistsignificantly in analysing effectiveness of some of the emergingproject procurement models such as public-private partnerships (PPP), Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) or similar adopted in many countries.
